    Great Value Tent
I grabbed this 6-person tent for our family camping trips, and I’ve been really impressed, especially considering the price!First off, while it’s advertised as a 6-person tent, I think that’s a bit generous unless everyone’s just got sleeping bags. For us, it easily fits a queen-size air mattress with room to spare for gear or walking around, which is perfect for a small family. What really shocked me is the quality for the price. Setting it up is super easy – truly a breeze. And it’s definitely held its own against both wind and rain on our trips without any issues at all. If you’re looking for a reliable, easy-to-pitch tent that offers great bang for your buck, this one’s a winner, just adjust your expectations for “6-person” space

YOU CAN STAND UP IN THIS TENT
Two Weeks ago I went camping with a group of people – one was an acquaintance who had recently bought this tent. We all had different tents and hers was far superior because she fit a whole twin sized bedframe in her tent along with futon mattress and a table-she could stand up in her tent to change and actually had a large sturdy room. The rest of us had low tents we had to crouch around inside and when the wind blew the tentS hers held up well while our tents kept whipping around in the wind and hitting us and waking us up. The next morning she was far more cheerful than everyone else 🙂Fast forward 2 weeks and THIS TENT WAS PRETTY REASONABLE so I bought in a color I LOVE (I was happy there were so many color choices because I got a teal tent and she has an orange one-I think mine blends in with the environment a little better!!) and went camping again. There are many things I love about this tent and only one complaint.I love the big size (it’s the size of a small room in a house!) and the very sturdy legs of the tent and the height. It has the 3 poles in the top to hold the top out, but then it has these wonderful long sturdy legs on all 4 sides that are so easy to install securely that give it the height and also are not part of the top assembly so hold the tent more intact in the wind! I like the fact that it has four windows and the mesh hammock in the top is a great place to put a light at night and it also has two mesh pockets on opposite sides of the tent well off the ground to store cell phones and flashlights. I also feel like the poles are a little thicker and a very good quality-I have had fiberglass poles splinter over time in the past and this tent seems like it will hold up a better with the thick, study metal poles. The tent was easy to set up and take down and fit nicely in the bag again (in the past it has been a struggle to get a tent back in its bag so I appreciate the little extra room in the bag so it is not such a huge struggle). After one weekend of camping it I think it might be the nicest tent I have owned as far as ease of set-up and comfort inside. The one thing I would have liked is for the door to have double zippers. In order to open or close the door you have to run the single zipper all the way from the top to the bottom in a very long C shaped track every time. You can’t zip the bottom zipper up a bit to keep out your friend’s little dogs and the zipper is nothing special (not YKK) -I am worried that over time the one zipper is going to start sticking along its long path and break. All of the windows have double zippers so I am not sure why they did not put one on the door. All in all this is a great tent at this price point. As usual with all tents I think it might be a struggle to fit 6 people in this one tent, but in my experience all tent size estimates assume there are going to be 6 very small people with no gear sleeping on the ground so this is not shocking. I think you could realistically fit maybe two adults and maybe 1 or 2 children on a mattress and maybe some gear in the tent comfortably at the most.I like separate camping cots and I can’t see putting more than 3 in there.I will still give it 5 out of 5 stars unless that ONE zipper in the door breaks and then I will be back to pitch a fit (hopefully it will hold up!)

A great tent … with a couple of issues
there’s much to like here; the value, the appearance, the center height (I’m 6’0″ and can easily walk around inside without bumping the top), the zippers (sturdy, and easier to zip/unzip than other tents I’ve owned), the wall material (thicker than other tents I’ve owned, suggesting good longevity potential), the big skylight windows (I saw 3 shooting stars the first night i used it!), and the “bathtub” design of the floor, in which the floor goes about 8 inches up the wall, suggesting rain likely not flowing in during a storm with running water around your tent — though to be fair I’ve not yet had rain while using this. I’ve used this for 3 weeks now on a road trip through Colorado, Southern Utah high desert and canyon lands, and Northern Arizona desert, in temps between 3 degrees (f) and 60 degrees. it’s holding up well so far. Will it keep you warm in cold temps? No, but it doesn’t purport to be a 4-season tent, so no big surprise. Easily solved by bedding down with extra layers if it’s cold. The problems:1. The optional rainfly is NOT optional if you’re camping in gusty winds. The rainfly itself and its tiedowns add to the tent’s stability. Without the rainfly, the tent could not stand up when i faced wind gusts between 10 and 30 mph; it would buckle under and start collapsing. Once i finally got the rainfly on the tent (comically difficult to do as one person even when there isn’t wind, and, I’m sure, hilarious to watch if there is wind), the tent held up well against the gusts. Bummer if no rain is forecast and you had hoped to watch for shooting stars as you lay in bed.2. There are 3 poles on the roof of the tent; the two main ones that crisscross from corner to corner worked fine: hard to get into their tent pockets because of the tension, but manageable. However the shorter pole that goes over the roof to elevate and stabilize the tent front-to-back are so TIGHT that I work up a sweat every time i try to get it attached or detached from the tent. We’re talking 5 minutes of struggle — a big deal if it’s raining, right? in fact, so tight that the last time i was taking the tent down, my struggles to get it off the tent resulted in a minor tear in the tent roof material. 🙁 I finally gave up that time and just stuffed the whole tent WITH the roof pole attached into my car since i had to hit the road for an appointment. So unless you are very strong and extremely patient (I’m neither — I’ve a weak left hand from an accident yrs ago. Which doesn’t explain the impatience. No good excuse for that 🙂 ), then all the good things about this tent may leave you with a sour impression. Maybe mine was flawed? seems more likely that this is a manufacturing/design defect than an anomaly of human error. I like the tent enough otherwise that i may send it back for a replacement, or just make a habit of bringing some workshop tool, such as vice grips, to give me better leverage next time.

Spacious, Great Quality, and Easy to Set Up!
This tent is huge! I used it on a solo trip and had plenty of space to stretch out and store my gear comfortably. The quality exceeded my expectations—durable materials and sturdy construction. Setup was surprisingly quick and easy, even on my own. Highly recommend for solo campers who love extra space or groups looking for comfort!

This tent is just a perfect size for us for camping and it is super easy to set up. We used for camping this week and put air mattress and still have lots of space. It rained but the tent remained dry inside.Overall, I loved this tent and very happy with this purchase.
